Here’s a list of five things that may just give you the immune support that you and your family need!
1. Get a Good Sleep
Lack of sleep may weaken our body's immune system. Make sure to get enough sleep your body needs to prevent this from happening. A night of good sleep provides essential support to the immune system. Getting high-quality sleep enables a well-balanced immune defense.
Sleep needs can vary per individual, but most adults should get about 8 hours of sleep while children should get anywhere from 8-12 hours in a day.
2. Exercise!
Whether it’s walking, running, or bicycling, getting moderate exercise may help your body increase white blood cell activity which is part of your immune system!
Please be sure not to overdo it though. 30 minutes daily should do it!
It is great to spend your workout time outside. But if not, don’t forget that there are many indoor options available for getting your daily exercise while staying safe.
3. Eat Right
There's a famous saying: 'You are what you eat'? This phrase is the notion that to be fit and healthy you need to eat right.
In order for our body to function at its best, you need to supply it with good things! Studies have shown that people who eat lots of fruits and veggies get sick less. A balanced diet containing foods that are high in antioxidants is recommended. The food choices are the nutrients we give our bodies. Avoid Junk and Fried food items.
4. SUPPLEMENT YOUR DIET
To function properly your body needs to receive a number of essential nutrients, however, with increased consumption of processed foods and busy lives even the healthiest of us can have a hard time getting all of the nutrients from diet alone. This is where supplements can be handy.
Finding a good supplement can help you and your family’s diet to get all the vitamins and minerals you need.
